That is a tough one. I feel like Unhinged might be the best written, but Driven is my first one, so it will always have a special place in my heart.

This one is easy...The Lesser of Two Evils. The characters are so unlike me; it was fun to step into their shoes for a bit. If you read it, you'll understand. 

Driven, by far. I expected maybe 200 downloads when I put it out there, and it has over 20,000. I still can't wrap my head around that.

Absolutely, but most of my characters are blends of people. My friends can probably find themselves in my books somewhere in a character's name, a quote, or a storyline. My characters are all just regular people; you won't find supermodels or billionaires in my books. My life experiences, whether they be funny, regrettable, painful, or triumphant, are the backbone of each novel, and I think people can relate to them.

My first book, Driven, was published in May 2013.

I teach statistics at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia.

I love to be outdoors, hiking, biking and walking. I love the mountains and would love to have a mountainside cabin one day.

I also help feed the unhoused population in Richmond on a regular basis and I support multiple other local causes. I also donated my kidney to a stranger, but that’s another story.
